Stefan & Kate met in January 2009, while studying E-Commerce Law in Australia as part of the University of St. Thomas' J-Term program. Their all-time favorite memory together in Australia was when they Kayaked in Margaret River when they were mistaken by the guide as a couple. This kayaking adventure, in fact, this was the first time they were spending time together one-on-one.  Stefan & Kate have had a multitude of exciting adventures together while dating; from birthday trips to Chicago, vineyard tours, boating the lakes, Cessna plane rides, Mexico/Arizona/Northern Minnesota vacations, as well as cooking & wine pairing classes together - the experiences go on & on, every time deepening their relationship. Stefan popped the question to a very unsuspecting Kate on Oct. 21, 2011, with the creative assistance of five perfectly carved pumkins. The couple celebrated that night with family and the following day by partaking in their favorite fall activity, going to Minnetonka Orchards to pick out pumpkins & indulge in Hot Apple Cider with family & then out to dinner at Cafe Lurcat.



Once married, Stefan & Kate will reside at the Lowry Building in Downtown St. Paul with their hilarious cat, Zsa-Zsa Gabor.
